Lhodos Project is an electrifying jazz fusion ensemble that effortlessly bridges the vibrant musical landscapes of New York and Istanbul. Known for their soulful melodies and infectious soundscapes, this five-piece band explores the dynamic realm of electro jazz fusion while honoring their Mediterranean roots.
Formed by an exceptional collective of musicians—Ian Arsintescu (alto/soprano saxophone), Pau Jorba (alto saxophone), Hana Igarashi (piano/synths) , Berk Feyiz (electric guitar) , Deniz Özsan (percussion), and Alican Bekoğlu (drums)—Lhodos Project emerged from the prestigious New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. Their diverse backgrounds and unique musical influences intertwine to create an intricate combination of sounds that could best be summarized as "Bold yet restrained, a unique force that redefines conventions with power and poise."
With performances that spark curiosity and ignite an innate sense of inner movement, Lhodos Project invites listeners on a journey that transcends traditionally designated genre boundaries.
